A resource for churches, and Christian groups including home/Bible study groups and faith/Seminary and Ordination courses, including leaders/counselling/support groups in churches and others who want to explore the impact of low mood and stress on those with a Christian faith. Also, for Hospital and Prison Chaplains, and Pastors in armed forces settings. The course also contains content that can help church leaders self-manage their own mental health as well as providing an educational support model for helping those in their own congregations.

The classes have been delivered in interdenominational settings including C of E, Methodist, and other Anglican and Catholic settings.

It also includes helpful resources for use by leaders/trainers who do not themselves have a Christian faith but want to work with others who do.

Class license: This licence provides access to all the resources you require via an online trainer portal. This includes slide sets, trainer notes to accompany the slides, and handouts for attendees.

Teacher/trainer notes are included covering what content to cover in teaching the skills and resources.

Licence to deliver: You will require a non – commercial (not for profit) class licence to run the course. This 12 month license provides access to the essential resources to deliver the classes. Trainers need to review the license terms and conditions to check the course is suitable for them to delivery. Resources continue to be the property of Five Areas Ltd. Attendee handouts can be printed or emailed to attendees, but no other content can be disseminated. The slides and trainer notes are for use by licensed trainers only.

Dr Chris Williams is Emeritus Professor of Psychosocial Psychiatry at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and Past-President of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). His main area of interest is making Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches accessible to all. He is an Honorary Fellow of BABCP and widely recognised expert in making CBT life skills accessible to all.
The course has also benefited from inputs and updates from the wider LLTTF team and also Richard Johnston (Christian Mindfulness).

About the Author
