SPIRIT Train the Trainers Teaching Resources (teaching practitioners use of the Overcoming Depression and Low Mood: A Five Areas Approach Book)

The SPIRIT course is designed for use by senior staff and project leads to provide all the resources they require to train their teams and other colleagues in how to use the Overcoming depression and low mood book (ODLM) in your service. This training resource is designed to be used by staff already familiar with the ODLM resource. That might be through prior experience of using the resource, or by attending one of our training days online or in person.
This online set of teaching resources consists of slides, trainer notes and attendee handouts covering all the resources needed to teach the SPIRIT (Structured Psychosocial InteRventions In Teams) course in your own team setting. You will need online access to use the slides etc. This is a licensed product with a 12 month license term.

Restrictions: The base licence for this course allows delivery on six occasions in a 12 month period. It is only licenced for use in an agreed local area/team. You are not permitted to advertise training events nationally or on a commercial basis using this licence.
How to use this Resource
Who is the Resource For?
Senior staff and project leads can teach their own team, or agreed teams in a locality such as a linked health, social care or school-based staff. It teaches them how to run the classes themselves. A separate version of the course also covers how to introduce and support individuals clients in using the resources is also available. It does not licence a service to train staff outside of their usual clinical service area.
