Course development: The content has benefitted from feedback and inputs from young people, trainers and health and social care/charitable organisation staff who have delivered the classes. The course was originally commissioned in Canada by the Canadian Mental health Association funded by Bluewave who commissioned interviews with young people, and the provision of content experts to work with Professor williams on creating the course. Inputs from staff across the UK has also fed into updates and refinements e.g. Kings School Exeter, and Mearns Castle School in Scotland and Young people’s workers for the Scottish Charity SAMH and the Irish charity AWARE.

Dr Chris Williams is Emeritus Professor of Psychosocial Psychiatry at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and Past-President of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). His main area of interest is making Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches accessible to all. He is an Honorary Fellow of BABCP and widely recognised expert in making CBT life skills accessible to all.
The course has also benefited from inputs and updates from the wider LLTTF team.
